Auction for LDI.sk on 25th November 2015 at 6PM in CAFE SCHERZ
This was a third year of Beneficial Auction of Photography. Last year we managed to get over 6000 Euro through the auction directly for the kids in need with clasic black and white photography. This year we hoped for more. Together with the help of Cafe Scherz, Nina Gažovičova from SOGA, Roman Juraško as moderator and many others who helped with vine and cakes and of course with your help maneged to fundraise 13.050 Euro. This is great and on behalf of SEEDS n.p.o and Linka detskej istoty (LDI) who are making sure that all the money is used only for children in need we would like to thank you.

This march the project "Europe & the World" hit the road again. We started in Elementary school Nemsova and contunuied to Zilina. Here we spent some interesting discussion time with the students from the elite bilingual highschool. We moved on to Tatranska Lomnica, stopped by our friends in Kezmarok and continued to Prievizda. Here we saw the eclipse of the Sun and worked with Elementary students and also students from the Business Academy.

Art Academy prepares kids also for performing. Together with their teachers they play and sing on local events, but also on international level.
We are pleased to announce that we managed to start a penpall activity between Slovak and Indian children. Kids from Elementary school in Kezmarok - hilly area just like near Manali attended a presentation "Europe & World" where they also learned more about students from Manali.Thanks to the teacher Janka Gallikova we managed to send first letters from Slovak kids to India and we also managed to send paintings to share. The topic of the paintings is "My homeland", or "Where I live" and we believe that the kids on both sides will learn about the new far away land from the drawings.Now we are waiting for the reply from Manali.
